These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of services provided by SIA MyEventRiga (“we”, “us”, or “our”) to any individual or company (“you”, “the client”) who uses our tourism services.

By booking with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

1. Our Services

SIA MyEventRiga offers inbound tourism services in Latvia, and other EU countries including but not limited to:

Guided tours and excursions
Accommodation bookings
Transportation arrangements
Custom travel itineraries
Corporate and group event planning

A booking is considered confirmed once you receive written confirmation from us and the required deposit has been paid.

2.1.2 Payment Terms

A non-refundable deposit of 30–50% is required upon booking.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 15 days before the arrival date.
For bookings made within 15 days of arrival, full payment is required immediately upon confirmation.
Payments may be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other accepted methods.

2. Booking & Payment

2.1 For FIT (up to 8 people)

2.1.1 Booking Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed once you receive written confirmation from us and the required deposit has been paid.

2.2 For GROUPS (starting from 9 people)

2.2.1 Booking Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed once you receive written confirmation from us and the required deposit has been paid.

2.2.2 Payment Terms

A non-refundable deposit of 30–50% is required upon booking.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the arrival date.
For bookings made within 30 days of arrival, full payment is required immediately upon confirmation.
Payments may be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other accepted methods.

3.2 For GROUPS (starting from 9 people)

3.2.1 Cancellation by the Client

More than 30 days before arrival: Full refund minus a € administrative fee.
15–30 days before arrival: 50% refund.
Less than 15 days before arrival or no-show: No refund.

3.3 Cancellation by SIA MyEventRiga

In the event we must cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. natural disasters, political unrest, or severe weather), we will offer a full refund or alternative arrangements of equal value.

4. Client Responsibilities

By using our services, you agree to:

Provide accurate information during booking
Hold valid travel documents (passport, visa, etc.)
Respect local laws and cultural norms
Arrive on time for scheduled activities
Inform us in advance of any health conditions or special requirements

5. Liability Disclaimer

We act as an intermediary between you and local service providers (e.g. hotels, transport companies). While we take care to work with trusted partners, we are not liable for:

Delays, losses, or damages caused by third parties
Force majeure events such as natural disasters or strikes
Theft, loss, or damage to personal belongings

We are only responsible for damages resulting from our direct negligence.

6. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that you obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, personal liability, and lost luggage. We are not responsible for any losses arising from the absence of insurance.

7. Data Protection

We collect and process your personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Your information is used solely for booking and communication purposes and is not shared with third parties unless required for service delivery or by law.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Riga, Latvia.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any updates will be published on our website. Continued use of our services after changes implies acceptance of the updated Terms.
